Arsenal U18 Coach Jack Wilshere heaps praise on Chido Obi

Youngster Obi continues to shine under the watchful eyes of Wilshere

Arsenal U18 coach Jack Wilshere has praised the hard work of Chido Obi, who has been in excellent form for the Gunners' youth team this season.

Obi, 17, has scored five goals in seven appearances for Arsenal U18s this season, and Wilshere has been impressed with the youngster's attitude and application.

"Chido is getting the rewards for his hard work," Wilshere said. "He's a talented player, but he's also a very hard worker. He's always willing to learn and improve, and he's always giving 100% in training and matches."

Obi has been with Arsenal since he was eight years old, and he has progressed through the club's academy ranks at a rapid rate. He made his debut for the U18s last season, and he quickly established himself as a regular in the team.

This season, Obi has taken his game to another level. He has scored some important goals for the U18s, and he has also been capped by England at youth level.

Wilshere believes that Obi has the potential to become a first-team player for Arsenal in the future.

"Chido is a very talented player," Wilshere said. "He's still young, but he has all the attributes to become a top player. He's got great technical ability, he's quick, he's strong, and he's a good finisher."

"I'm really excited about his future. I think he has the potential to become a very good player for Arsenal."
